BWCGBA are, at present, working three days a week with people who have additional needs.
Every Monday, Thursday and Friday morning, the academy works with Warren Manor Hub, the day care centre on Warren Drive in Thornton Cleveleys. These sessions take place at Cavendish Park Bowling and Social Club thanks to the generosity of the committee and club members.
The clients that come from Warren Manor all enjoy themselves immensely and can be very competitive.

The charity Together We Can Do gives its members the opportunity to play many sports at various venues throughout the Fylde Coast.
BWCGBA attends Stanley Park Sports Centre every Thursday from 12.30 pm until 2.00 pm, giving the charity’s members some fun with the Bowls Buddies bowls and targets. Every week we get new bowlers coming along to have a go.
If you would like to give a hand please contact us. Volunteers are always welcome.

Luke and Graeme are great friends but great rivals when they have bowls in their hands.

These wheelchairs are specifically designed for use on a crown green but are out of production.
The large wheels ensure that no damage is done to the green as the chair is manoeuvred around it.
We are working alongside another academy to produce a similar wheelchair which can be motorised when needed.
